What people are “supposed” to be doing is debatable. It includes an array of items, and for senior leaders, that includes DEI.

Hard dollars are spent by HR for DEI, to include HR employees and contributions T-Mobile makes/made to BLM, "Pride" groups, outsourced training sessions on how good/great DEI is, etc.

There's also soft costs of Managers, Directors and VP's who meet multiple times a week to talk/complain/scheme about DEI, taking away from the job they're supposed to be doing.
