Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

5N4Y more like 2N6Y

Five new nodes in four years, except it's only two nodes and we won't be making anything with them in large volumes for six years, might have been more accurate.

Nobody can survive the next 5 years to witness the biggest lie in history of potato chip making at Mc Donald's.

High NA EUV was supposed to go into 18A.
Now it’s slipped to 14A.

20A arrow lake sounds like it will miss coming out this year.

Intel is moving more and more internal silicon to TSMC.

Things are NOT going well.

People need to understand by the Pastor P. OWN WORDS...---> "I’ve bet the whole company on 18A." So, says Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger in the most deadpan, matter-of-fact manner imaginable. He's not glib. He's not joking. Everything rides on Intel's 18A process according to Gelsinger.. Again, and like what has been said....what is HE doing to ensure its success? Oh, that is right...traveling and acting like some celebrity. He has already failed.

Resentment is like taking poison and waiting for the other guy to die.

Please let see one good node at a time first to prove your capabilities to compete.

@cva+1rl4VADf If what you said is true then Intel stock would be parabolic like AMD and Nvidia...it is NOT..it is going down...just like the next Kodak....I am sorry that you are delusional.

keep crying here, good for nothing other than spread negativity. the innovation in research around AI/ML and the inference every week is so fast paced and intel CPU's are still at the forefront. do some research. GPU's are important but inference market is big and CPU's play critical role. Pat is really trying hard and last quarter is a great example. Matter of time investor's will come back.

You pay CEOs over 200 million and they consistently make bad decisions over bad decisions. Andy G. would fire them all and cut the company by 50%, park his office on the main floor of the target FAB, and say now...everyone is working 24/7 until we get it right...anyone not showing up is fired.
Today we have a traveling clown as a CEO, name one week where he has NOT traveled or posted a video saying..guess where I am.... Seriously...

2 Nodes in 6 years
5 tweaks in 4 years
No HVM for 6 years
Still no customers in IFS

Meanwhile TSMC are ramping away at 3nm and heading towards 1nm

The 10 nm relays will haunt us forever and ever! Great job Fab 28 !!!!
