I heard that HR is being looked at for discrimination in PDC's, can that be right? What good is it having HR representation in our PDC's when they are the ones discriminating? I also thought that PDC's were for helping employees grow, not layoffs.

PDC is a joke. I met with a manager who just joined a group. Person admits their lack of experience and that his entire staff is green. I could apply for a job in in the PDC, but it didn't make sense because they need someone with strong expertise in the role.
It's like they know who they want to move across and up based on a-s kissing and history (hey, this person has had three jobs in CVX in six years, the mo--n PDRs think they must be smart so they move those guys immediately to the front of the queue).
It is true that HR is run by a very specific demographic, that must be why RM is now bringing in white males as her "Advisors" and then promotes them to GM!!! RM is the epitome of bad leadership, no ability to make a decision on her own so she farms this out to her advisors and if they keep her secrets, do her thinking and lying for her, they are in.
white women progressing is all the rage in ABU HR! They have overtaken any resemblance of DEI!
HR is currently being run by a very specific demographic.
Have you met the new head sponsor? That guy is so clueless, it's scary. He memorizes a script and when someone asks a question, he falls apart. The group hasn't been the same since CR. Need to get that guy out asap before he embarrasses everyone in the pdc world.
white males should move to IT, they will thrive. Even Mark Nelson's townhall was called out for lack of female diversity. Wait until he checks out IT architecture. They even all look alike.
I agree. HR deserves the recognition for sc--wing each and every employee who has ever approached them with a problem. It is extraordinary!
It seems white males are being discriminated against.
Yes, Someone from HR should become the CEO and the peons should be promoted to GMs.
My POV is that disgruntled employees will always claim discrimination in PDC's and other practices like managed moves. We've always had a caseload of lawsuits, no different than any other large employer with deep pockets. To your question, HR is outnumbered in a PDC full of business leaders, hard to fathom the influence of 1 person from a function most don't trust.
