Slash and Burn! So awesome to work for a company where your livelihood is in constant jeopardy. Does wonders for moral. It makes you really focus on “quality” when all the orgs are in total chaos and disarray. Used to go to this team for this, nope they’re gone. Who handles it now? “I don’t know” Quality!!

You wouldn’t know with all the marketing messages on LinkedIn. But we know better as well as the outside world. My day was up in January 2021 and the s—t show is not only continuing but looks even stronger. 40 years in telecom, laid off 1x and it was by the dumpster fire which wasn’t my choice as arrived through acquisition.
This layoff further proves that it doesn’t matter what you do, you’re never safe. To those left, do the absolute bare minimum. Focus on getting out. Your talent is wasted at Windstream.
There severance is unemployment fraud… they can’t do this
I was cut today and I have hit my number, blind sided totally
To be fair, there have been layoffs here without the direct manager knowing until after their people were informed and told to log out or had been walked out.
All orgs? Nah
Double digit years at Windstream and cut today. My manager didn’t even have the ba--s to reach out. Or be in the meeting.
