Whenever I am in the company of other people, I feel ashamed to admit I work at Xerox. Working in a company that has been going downhill fast, and has remained associated with outdated tech and approach, somehow makes you the same in the eyes of other people - incompetent and outdated.

If you put in an honest, good day’s work at Xerox or anywhere, there’s nothing to be ashamed of. And despite the current situation, Xerox had many good years and has done lots of good. Remember that. And no, I’m not part of current XRX management or a shill for XRX HR. Good luck to everyone affected by the IRIF.
FMT always gets one in , same topic never gets old for the FMT.
I am so ashamed to work at Xerox when people I ask where I work I just say McDonald’s or that I am unemployed - way better outcome
No kool-aid for you! Sacrifice yourself to the dividend immediately.

Simple solution - leave.
You can't just up and leave with no transferable skills. Those of us working on 30 year old controller software are aware.
Hmmm, Perhaps you’re not drinking enough Kool-aid. Your ur--e should match Pantone #d0417e. Recommend recalibration is 1 gallon for every shade off. Please use a spectrophotometer from a DC12.
If you are ashamed of collecting an honest paycheck, you are a weak minded individual in general. My guess though is that you are simply a troll seeking attention. In that case you are not, hope you are part of the 15% because you sound like a waste of space.
And that is exactly how every new management team felt about long term employees. Until they failed.
Simple solution - leave.
Yup. You are who you hang with. xerox slide started slowly at first but momentum of decline really picked up and can’t find anyone credible who thinks it can be stopped now. The bill always comes due.
Lol exactly. Used to be a household name now people cant even pronounce it then when I say I work on printers I get that tilted head look like people still do that for a living?
