I, too, many years ago thought that this would be a great place to grow and have a career. Unfortunately the constant turnover in leadership and unworthy motives has turned this company into a travesty. It amazes me how some in this company are appalled at the idea that people wouldn't want to stay and work for Centene. But then that tells me that they are in good with someone or don't value themselves enough to care. For the people who are screaming "find another job" - well I hope that it's that simple when it comes time for them to have to find another job. I figure it like this - would I be disappointed if they laid me off - absolutely not. Are they looking for alternative ways to terminate people based on performance so they don't have to pay severance? Absolutely they are as indicated by their current unrealistic performance goals and metrics. So you really have 4 options - wait for them to lay you off, wait for them to fire you based on performance, apply out and secure another position elsewhere if you can, or stay where you are and deal with it. I do believe 3 of those options in the end will be a better alternative to the last.
