A recent Automotive news article highlights JF admitting he should have focused more on industrial and manufacturing issues instead of marketing. That's what we all get when we hired a hack from Toyota with no engineering or manufacturing background. We reap what we sow...well, at least we don't have a bracket dept. anymore!

Good read but just a puff opinion piece. I do agree with a lot of the opinions though.
Here's an idea: de-content the Mach-e and call it the Mach-ez! Yes! Mach-e Pony edition, anyone?
kicking out an EV doesnt seem like such a bad idea, since the big 3 usually are way behind in new stuff historically (so called fast follower ... really slow follower). however, firing so many experienced people and model-e as a separate thing, bad launches, quality issues... those are bad. it would be like having a model-d for diesel trucks. no. oh wait i better not give them the idea... when you see a mach-e on the road you think: man that could have a 4 cyl or a v6, easy. if they want lower cost EVs, why dont they decontent the mach-e? way too many things you dont really need in that veh-hick-le. good thing we're not in charge, right?
JF is on borrowed time already. Won't be long.
Great read. It just goes to show how stupid the Ford CEO JF really is. Many Bad decisions made by JF equals bad results. Message to fords woke BoD’s wake up, do your job for once and Fire 🔥 this d-mb a-s clown 🤡 JF now! You can get a better CEO from fast food workers!
thanks for the reminder, havent looked up delorenzo in a short while. i am a little worried about his blood pressure tho, reading some of those rants.
Ford would have been better off with Chris Farley serving as CEO.
