Second what the person said about at least a potential bonus. I have at least 6 close friends in different Fortune 100 companies. Not a one got any bonus, 3 didn't get any merit increase, and one was laid off in March.
35% of something is better than all of nothing.
Can someone explain what this is?
F this place. Could have at least made it 50 when they were predicting 60. 35 is a slap on the face.
It’s a way to nudge those who are paid the most to leave on their own volition… and to cut the pay of those who stay or are hired or outsourced afterwards.
At least you still have a job there with the potential for some kind of a bonus
