Lawyer up. Laws are different in every state. Disclaimers don’t shield unconditional verbal promises.
Sadly - all comp statements have a disclaimer that clearly states you must be ACTIVE EMPLOYEE on the date bonuses are paid out. If you are not an employee on the date the bonus is paid out you don’t receive it. In this case Comp and RP will pay out on 3/1. If you are not an AVTIVE employee on that date, you will not receive it.
There is no bonus
If one gets laid off before 3/1, what happens to the bonus?
