I just learned that South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers are out of network for Cigna, which seems strange to me since STRIC is a major provider in San Antonio and used to be in-network for USAA’s Aetna plan. I also heard that this might change because USAA plan participants have received huge bills from STRIC for unknowingly going out of network, so Cigna is negotiating with STRIC. Does anyone know if this is happening or is it just a rumor?

Cigna has been a mess. I just appealed today with an in network doc for a denied procedure. no reason given..just denied.
The real question is what is in network with Cigna? This is so bad that the Obama care plans are looking good.
Almost everything is "out of network" for cigna 🙄
