Why is CDW still on a hiring freeze? You can apply and interview for other positions internally but they can’t make you an offer? There are other new employees but how when the hiring freeze is in place? What is the point of interviewing for positions if they are not allowed to make an offer? What a waste of managements and employees time.

Just saw the new GCF version of my former job posted... at a lower pay level. It's all good because my current job elsewhere pays more. I was fortunate to have secured it before severance ran out. Thanks for the needed nudge, CDW.
So it seems North American roles are getting outsourced to India.
UK roles getting moved to South Africa, a country with an unstable power grid and equally unstable government.
This will not end well.

Are you serious? If I apply for a position, they'll interview me but it won't be possible to transfer into it?
They don't want to be so obvious about laying off people aged 40+ to replace them with coworkers who are cheaper.
