Can we get our managers and their bosses to do our jobs for just a few days? Considering the expectations they are placing on us, I'm convinced none of them have any idea what any of us do. Or they do and they don't care, and I honestly don't know which is worse.

And this is the exact reason we fail to progress. Too many people with perceived power focusing on optics rather than meaningful change.
They know and don't care, that's why I received contradicting goals that are unattainable without one negatively impacting the other unless some miracle happens where someone at a higher level does their job correctly. Which at that level, they're just a pushover/brown noser/yes man/fake it til they make it kind of people.
