You are too ignorant to have a real job. Two 25 year old engineers cannot replace one 50 or 60 year old engineer. Most of your learning will be after you graduate.
This dinosaur will be happy getting away from the daily grind, traveling, and sitting by the ocean. Feeling disappointed for my dinosaur friends who wanted to keep working. Also sad to see the direction L3Harris seems to be moving and how they seem to be discounting the people that made both L3 and Harris successful.
Your ignorance outlines your future. You do not have the mental capacity to realize that you will assume the workload of the RIF'd over 50 year olds. Have fun junior, live with mom and dad, and enjoy your student loan that you will still be paying when you are 50.

Well after almost 40 years of heavy structures and mod experience, twenty with the Waco site was let go. I can’t blame myself but poor leadership that has taken over with the merger of Harris. Good luck to the ones that follow this long frustrating career. I now have earned the right to wear socks with sandals and become a Wal Mart greeter.Life is now good!

They keep the cheap ones, friend. They let go of the ones who’ve been doing the work and earning the pay to pat themselves on the back for cost avoidance thanks to those billions spent purchasing of Viasat’s TDL business and Rocketdyne.
