Our department in SAS at PBY had a short Teams meeting with our EM today. We were told that SAS overall lost 3%, which tracks pretty well with the losses within our group. EM said he and the others under the director level weren't in the loop about the layoff plans and didn't find out until it happened.

Even though we mostly were lucky and kept our jobs, it's taken a real toll on the survivors' morale, confidence in exec. management, and overall confidence in the future. Not that we were previously impressed with how upper management was doing before - ever since Bill Brown took over at Harris, things haven't been spectacular, and I frankly think that L3 and Harris both would have been better off had the merger never happened.

SAS (FL) - Laid off today. "We've made hard decisions. Thank you for your time. Bye."

Plenty of rumors, take your pick. By the end of week the rumors will separate from the truth.

SAS is part of April 11 layoffs, so I’m sure some will be in FL
