This company has demonstrated through its actions that it has NO respect for its employees. I would even go as far as saying it loathes us. The management team is out to lunch, or floating around in outer space, while the kids run wild. The sad thing is, most of the issues that hold this place back are easy fixes. My advice to management. Send the consultants packing and promote based on merit and skills. It's time to clean house!

Dear thinking of going to hr ..you can try.. but hr will normally side with the mgr. she may be a bully because she has been told to do that to get more productivity out of you….
First things first ,Never go to HR. It will only backfire on you. secondly, Gail is bringing in this management, only to oust the existing management that was already here. Sort of the same thing when we switched from Well point to Anthem us vs them.. Third, learn learn learn what you can on Anthems oh sorry Elevances health dollar. . I know it's not great but neither are things all around us. So it's the lesser of the bad and you have an income. Just be true to yourselves stay strong, we got this .. go home everyday to our families and friends and be blessed for that. All we can do.
The management model at this company goes something like this. Buddy up with a VP, get promoted, then find someone else to the job you are being paid to do. When the Sh$# hits the fan, go dark and hide! If you master this technique, you will eventually run the company.
@prm+1rUnfRfJ. Wondering if we are in the same organization.
Time and time again, we are being asked to do the work of positions above us, told to balance work/life and out of the side of their mouth imply you need stay as long as it takes to get the work of 3-5 people done. All the while the people in positions above us are not pulling their weight.
Companies used to train and invest in employees. I feel it is all changed now with the h1b visa push. No one cares about employees anymore, you can just get brand new ones after we are gone.
Well said! Why, indeed.
I completely agree. My manager is terrible, a bully and completely out of touch. Pushes all management duties onto staff without any compensation or promotion. Does not ever take our opinions into consideration. A dictatorship. I know people are contemplating turning this information into HR but are afraid of retaliation. There are a few of us looking for other positions. I’ve noticed a lot of positions are now hybrid not remote. Nobody wants to go into an office.
