My linked in is being flooded with all these new certifications from the “Dare to lead” trainings. Crazy how people think that is a great certification to show off while Lumen is currently firing left and right. Why spend so much money with Brene Brown but fire good people and good employees?

Not 1, not 2, but 3 rounds of Psycho rabble babble to prepare you to rumble with "their shame" for treating you badly as they eliminate your job with a pitiful, if any severance. No raises, and bonuses reserved for a very few that are "the friends of the boss..." Clark Griswold was treated better with the Jelly of the month club! Worst company ever... Harassing, hostile, demeaning environment... but hey.... you got your shame shields and rumble starters for those power over managers, but are "Dared To Speak Up"! - eh??
But…we did pay for it. Through no raises for years, dividend being cut, layoffs, no budgets for traveling (I was in sales), no budgets to take our customer lunches/gifts. Meanwhile leadership is going to the superbowl and Minnesota Vikings games. GTFO with that nonsense of “if you didn’t pay for it, don’t complain”.
OMG. You all are missing the point with DTL stuff. It is motivational content and built in a DEI model. So if you want a decent chance at working in another company who embraces the DEI junk, then having DTL on your resume or linked-in page is not a bad idea. If you didn't have to pay for it then don't complain about it.
