Saw the COO is "retiring" and there were a number of different changes announced both for the Allstate side and the National General side today. Didn't seem like the people I work with knew what was going on, but it's a lot of changes.

Are they seeing the Trian/Nelson Peltz handwriting on the wall? One wonders. They've been very diligent about not mentioning him and his involvement in the company but when you start to see senior people taking their golden parachutes and jumping out of the flaming plane, you have to wonder.
It's not as if they and their colleagues have suddenly come to the realization that they are responsible for the moribund state of the company and have been asked to leave so we can actually do something different and better. That'd require a self-awareness beyond their bonus checks and they left anything but self interest behind long ago.
She should retire. Was one of the chief architects of TG and had chance to reverse its ugly direction. Did nothing to influence and should be embarrassed. CCO, please. Another unqualified femske leader hand picked by Glenn that could not deliver results.
