Financial health is the excuse they use to layoff those who are not aligned. Never let a crisis go to waste. Create a crisis if needed to achieve the end goal. The end justifies the means.

Interesting that publicly DEI is crash and burning while we are doubling down on it. Time to back off the throttle and admit that we stood up a DEI team (that goes around and preaches to various groups as their whole responsibility) only to appease the financial institutions to try and attract investors. Now that common sense is prevailing, though much slower than I would have liked, tear down that team!
