Just a quick post to those with linkedin, facebook and other accounts like that.
Turn on two-factor authentication. Someone was in my linkedin account a while back. I got a notice from linkedin and later realized someone had flipped a switch that I didn't even know existed.
It also appears to me, from searching the internet, that facebook accounts can be breached. What I read online indicates to me that they are not very secure.
Turn on 2 factor authentication. It's a really good idea. If your password is compromised, you can be sure they can't get into your account.
After my experiences, I no longer trust who I am talking to when connecting to other people with various accounts. You just never know. It's impossible to tell exactly who you are talking with.
