How does the firing process work? Does your manager pull you into a spontaneous meeting or hr?

they could care less about your equipment most likely all junk. may or may not send a box. most likely they lock up the storage on the puter before your termination call begins so it is just a brick by the time then done with the ceremony
I still have my computer system after 6 months now. No word from the company about it. I guess they don’t want it back.
Layoff you get a call before noon direct manager is there but not permitted to talk hr rep does all the talking and cuts you loose. security may be thee to escort you out with or without your stuff. If remote they chop access as soon as call terminates. They send a box for your laptop and that is all
Your manager usually puts you on a CAP or in your 1:1s they start telling you you’re not meeting your goals or doing your job to try and make you quit because they don’t want you to collect unemployment. Just hang in there for the unemployment no matter what. It’s a benefit you paid into to protect you. If you quit you can’t get unemployment.
