When I worked for CTL I always put the inverse on those surveys.
I have given honest feedback the last couple of surveys to the point of figuring they would track me down and I would be reprimanded. None of my feedback has come to fruition. I doubt the surveys actually are read or have an impact

I hope to make the layoff list. Make a lot of money with all the years I have, otherwise retired in place and here just for kicks.
The survey is whether you the employee are engaged and scoring your immediate manager and a few levels up. It is not about your satisfaction and certainly isn't about evaluating the company.
It's read and picked apart, but filtered through koolaid colored glasses.

My supervisor has no idea what we do and visa versa. Just a waste of time to fill one of those out. Ever since Centurlink very little management interaction.

This company has the nerve and audacity to send out an ESS on the heels of 2 RIFFS, SLT & management issues, poor stock performance, no raises, and poor employee satisfaction scores. I hear that some people don't tell the truth, some folks don't fill out out. It's obvious that no body who cares and is willing to fix things actually reads these. All this is is just a check the box thing that the company does to make it appear that they care. So ever expect meaningfull change from the ESS.

Anonymous my a-s! I don't take them and every year I get an email asking me why. Why, because they are not anonymous. Like my mom used to say "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything".

What is the survey for? Does anyone in the company actually read them or is it just one of those compliance checkbox things?
