My boss hates her job and is terrible but is trying to get herself promoted. Coworker is a mega believing senior who says the most inappropriate things but somehow gets away with it. We spend more time talking about SOP than following them and the way we talk about our customers is pathetic. I have to explain tech to people who don’t understand excel or teams or word. Like wtf? Does anyone here care anymore?

Culture has died. People who make racist/derogatory remarks are not only embraced but promoted. Senior management fear making the right decisions and have a bunch of white elitist making wrong calls. Company will need a lot of time to set things back on the right path as there are too many wrong personnel decisions made.
Since I started here I experienced exclusionary, racist and s-xist behaviors and microaggressions like jokes about dog eating by a SVP in an all management meeting and expectations for women employees to keep the office tidy by a director. The company pretends to be inclusive but we know the truth.
And people like your boss just look out for themselves and will do whatever it takes to get promoted. HR and management are incompetent. Promotions are based on who you know. Did you see the company wide Q&A when the new C level executive said relationships was the #1 way to be successful here? I’m only here because of the pay but I have to suffer in this environment with global hours.
I asked myself that every day. This week, I was made redundant.
