My last working day is approaching, following RIF of my entire department. HRBP said our health insurance coverage continues for 3 mos, but documents today said it ends in about 3.5 wks. If they treat their employees this way, I can't imagine the experience of our faceless members

It's an absolutely abhorrent company to work - Centene. I was so sick of my people leader that just had to get out. Only career driven, ladder climbing, micro-managing, over achiever. It's was terrible for way to long and "conscious quitting" is a real thing. I had to do was is best for me and get away and quickly as possible. Toxic Leadership is a real thing and they only promote the same - more toxic people. These people will just rot at the end their life because they've defined themselves by their career and only their career. Their work life equals their work life and they are not any different publicly. They are only career driven and either hate themselves or their job.
I was able to get very affordable health care insurance, with excellent coverage through the Marketplace. Different states have different options and rules for insurance

When a position is terminated (outside of being flat out fired, health insurance lasts through the end of the current month of job loss. In our RIF, they offered to pay 1/2 of COBRA for an additional two months. That might be where the 3 months came from.
Check your paperwork.
Talk to HR. If you have it in writing hat it's 3 months, then that's what you should be getting. Best wishes to you, also. I hope you are able to move onto bigger and better things very quickly.
