Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC has made me toxic and ruined ny prospects of moving to the customer

I work on the aerospace account. My job is playing billy bullsh1tter to an unhappy customer. Every day is playing a cat and mouse game of desperately aligning project delivery staff and keeping the BAEloodhounds at bay

I have interviewed for several roles with the company and each have been turned down. I think my management has forced me into a position where I am hated by both customer and colleagues so I cant move.

was told we don't employ x-DXC staff, don't even bother to apply! They don’t accept DXV staff because you all just complain and do nothing

Be professional and do your job, if you don’t like it then leave. I left and received 3 cost of living increases since 2023

The wider world doesn't want people who can't do anything because they don't do anything and show up to interview proclaiming how busy they are achieving nothing but going to status meetings. Regardless of the real reason being that the organisation has everything tied up that you can't do anything, and nobody wants to know because it's the same 0% pay rise regardless. The real world wants people who deliver useful change in IT. Our competitors say they can achieve that, even if they can't, DXC's has already proved it can't or won't. So no wonder nobody wants to employ us. I was told we don't employ x-DXC staff, don't even bother to apply!
