Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

I’ve left.

I was at DXC for 2 years and 1 week. Why so long? First six months wondering if I had gone mad. Second 6 months trying to come to terms with my terrible mistake thinking it wont get worse, will it? Next 9 months searching for a new job that was not out of the frying pan and into the fire. I am so happy to be out. In my 24 years of working for 4 different companies I have never come across such in incompetent management team at L2, L3 and L4. Quite sad really that there are so many people who just stay and put up with it.

I left and completed their exit survey. I don’t need a reference from them so told them exactly what I thought. Bunch of incompetents.

If you use the term digital transformation in an interview you won’t get hired as DT has existed since computers were invented.

I tried to get out. It all came out in the interview that basically nobody at DXC does anything. We're given no useful training and have fallen way behind the curve long ago. We're a legacy company supporting legacy companies to close down. Anyone who's already done the digital transformation doesn't need the likes of DXC or much IT at all for that matter. I've stashed enough to retire tomorrow, one day when it'll especially hurt them I will. Don't need the reference, so don't expect any good will after all these years.
