I submitted my complaint to Ethics about my leader having favoritism.
I asked them what the process would be. I was told that it depends on someone else.
I didn’t realize that they dont do any investigations. I was told that they are FORced to forward the cases to the HR team. I’m defeated because this seems like a very unsafe place.

You went ethics to complain about your boss???? Bro - pack up your stuff, you just put a giant target on your back.
Not HR, ER Employee Relations! They’re the bad guys
HR and Ethics work for the company. Do not waste your time or energy. If you can transfer out from under the manager who is not a good match for you, do so. I knew a manager at HP who, by constant transfer, rose up the ladder. In all cases, even if you are the fair-haired wonder at the moment, constantly be on the lookout for a better opportunity. This is termed passive looking and is a respected practice. What is that Boy Scout motto? Be prepared. So spend a portion of every day growing your career. Lay a plan as to where you want to be short- and long-term. Then dedicate the time and other resources ($ for courses, etc.) to make that happen. Tune out all noise. Remember, it is your livelihood and, if you have children, it is your family's future.
Investigate a manager for favoritism? LOL! Favoritism is the backbone of corporate America. USAA thrives on favoritism. It is super common at USAA where people's merit increase and bonus % uave been lowered to give the difference to a manager pets. In case you don't know the process - a manager at USAA has an amount they can be divide up for merit and bonus for their team. They can select to give more more to their pet. If they do, they have to take it from your share. There is nothing you can do. USAA HR or any HR is not going to help you. HR is not your friend. HR is a corporate function to protect the company's interests against you.
Lol...all sites that include the name you work for are being actively monitored. If you're on the wifi and visit this site or the other place, you'll be having a meeting with them "not bad hr folks". Don't believe me? Bet this thread goes away..key stroke and desktop monitoring is active.. your private cells are not obligated to privacy if you're connected to their wifi...they see all and capture all
Yes - speaking to HR is a bad thing! It's like you people aren't even paying attention. Also, stop asking what area they are in. Like you're trying to narrow down who this is. Ya'll act like plants!
That is simply not true and would ask for that in writing or reply to that person in writing indicating you would like a confirmation that the Ethics department does not investigate favoritism which can have several unethical outcomes which can impact our members. OP which group are you with and how is the favoritism occurring ? Also why ks going to ER not a good thing
Which CoSa are you in and what evidence did you show to support favoritism ? Speaking to HR is not a bad thing is it ?
