If any AVPs have been laid off, please share. Have you heard anything about the AVP role being eliminated company wide?

I highly doubt C12'S are being eliminated. They are probably doing away with the pointless AVP title. Honestly all titles need revamped. I'm a C13 VP and I can unequivocally say that my position is not in line with what a VP is at most companies. The fact that we get many fresh graduates that their 1st real job is as a VP in NYC should tell you that they've diluted the meaning of the term. Honestly I think a VP should be the lower level MD's. My position should just be reflected as a officer.
I’m an AVP-C12 and my position was eliminated.
I am an AVP and my manager did a 1v1 on Monday. They said due to the organizational restructure I would be placed under a different manager but still technically under them. Everything else would be the same.
I was a VP that was told my new title needed to change to AVP as part of the reorg. Pay and benefits would remain unaffected.
I was laid off. C12/AVP
They are simply letting go AVPs of a particular team, not eliminating the AVP role in the entire firm
Yes 1 AVP laid off in team. But nothing about role
AVP, laid off but nothing said about the AVP/C12 being completely eliminated. Just my job.
I mentioned it in another thread, but I was a first year AVP and was laid off
