I'm getting so tired of this. We are already short on staff in our department, and when I checked the schedule for this week, I could see they drastically cut hours once again. What the he-l is going on here? Is this just my location or has this become the norm across the company? Home Depot has never been this bad before.

Amazing that the Fed keeps saying the economy is doing well. They reference the stock market doing well.
What's not being told however is why the stock market has been doing well. Large companies have been keeping their stock prices up at the expense of human welfare. They have been laying people off in droves and artificially pumping their stock up by removing company costs in the form of labor . The whole thing is set to crash eventually, you can't just keep laying more people off when you are already down to a skeleton rew. I heard somewhere that in 2023-24 HDepot is going to layoff to the tune of 26,000. That is the best indicator of our economy that we have, not any Fed numbers they just change or the stock market which is manipulated to save some ceo's huge bonus.
Our economy is in bad shape. We don't need to keep hearing how great we're doing as we drown
