I know many people who wouldn't mind being let go, myself included.

The biggest farce is the area directors. I know one in the north that has done absolutely nothing his entire career. If it weren’t for his stepdad being a VP in telecom, he’d be serving French fries at McDonald’s, for the past twenty years. Total POS.
I've never seen a company SO bloated with unnecessary middle management. Then, to continue to layoff people who actually work while keeping all of these middle management people who do absolutely NOTHING is rather shocking.
It's really a blame game. If they insulate themselves with enough underlings then the top can't be the problem. The blame can just be pointed downwards for a little while. Heck TT had quite a run at it. Probably a world record holder.
Lol you people that swing off of BB’s nuts are going to be in for a rude awakening one day because when it comes down to him or you that gets let go, it’s going to be you and your made up bullsh-t job. Why are we even creating more management jobs when we’re laying off people that actually work?
Sad thing is the management cares less about anybody under them in this company. Their goal is to outsource as many jobs they possibly can. So layoffs will continue as they try to improve the profits so they can continue to line their pockets with gold. I’m truly shocked they haven’t eliminated several lower management positions as many of those jobs are redundant.
The new guy J.A. really sh-t the bed right at the gate, I haven't in my ten years seen it this bad, a new low for Windstream which is fu--ing saying something. I am walking away myself. Going to burn my vacation then quit without notice.
The days of respecting management are over. This place is so cancerous it can’t be fixed. I vote for a fire sale.
Did where you were stationed at have a log ride or feris wheel?
This new CEO reminds me of a guy I met a long time ago. We'd typically wake up early in the morning, and go out and do our jobs. Sometimes we'd see him during the day, other times we wouldn't.
He'd occasionally just show up out of nowhere to surprise us throughout the day. Mostly when he was around things were tense, we'd have to buckle down, and watch out to make sure he wasn't going to mess our days up too much. Instead of staying away like he should have done, his presence alone would slow our work down to a halt.
Everything this guy touched was made worse, sometimes I wonder to myself if I was trouble for him as well.
For the life of me I can't remember his name, Chuck I think, no I believe we called him Charles, oh now I remember, his name was Charlie.
Anyways, Charlie took my leg one day when I mistepped. You're not going to take my job now you yellow b4st4rd.
I wouldn't mind you getting laid off either
Better start looking for a new job now. That unemployment isn't gonn last long and if you're skill set is old gonna be even harder to find a new one. Don't let WS get rid of you on their terms.
I’m just bullheaded to leave on my own. I would welcome a layoff. Kinda a mental thing like being a quitter.
Why don't people like you just quit? The severance package is not existent Rosario so why do you stay? Please, by all means leave.
Rumor on the WS street is there is another round this week. And again in May or June. Some managers are giving a heads up.
As long as there is severance, of course.
