Thread regarding F5 Networks Inc. layoffs

I'm finally ready to leave F5

Understanding what you don’t want in a career is just as important as knowing what you do want. It took me a while to realize this, but now that I have, I'm going to be out of here as fast as I can. I realized that I don't want to work 60+ hour weeks even if it comes with a promotion. I also realized that I don't want to work in a toxic environment that makes me dread work for the rest of my life. Some things are more important than pay and promotions. It feels very liberating to accept that. I just hope I'll be able to find something else that fits my new criteria soon.

All the best. Believe me you will breadth fresh air. Air inside F5 is so toxic.

So much for a "human first" culture that leadership praises about ....
They work us to the bone and do not fairly compensate top performers or employees who go out of the way to improve upon the organization. I am right there with you, time to reprioritize what is important in life because there is more to life than working this hard just to watch CEO and EVP take raises after halting them for the rest of us. I know my work friends feel the same.

Wish you luck! The first step is to realise the need for a change.
