The data room was just completed a couple weeks ago and about to open. There has been interest but companies haven’t been able to dive in yet. It’ll likely go to a Canadian O&G developer who can do it for cheaper.

Compare and contrast Guyana and CBU. One, hottest property in the (oil) world, companies willing to go to court over competing offers. The other, dog acreage which saw its peak decades ago. Ditto for SJV, Angola. At least we were able to back out of Thailand and Indonesia.

People don’t always buy what’s for sale and sometimes things that are not for sell have an offer that can’t be refused.
Apparently interest has been minimal, so the sale may be off. Carry on!
