It's bad outside thx to criminals running US. Be prepared, get out! Intel leadership is blind and technically incapable of AI; they have also been lying to you. How may failed attempts and $Bs acquisitions.
The money will be wasted. My group got 10million dollars funding for Foundry. But it is used for other purposes, not a dollar seen used for Foundry. The government should audit how Intel used the money to prevent mis-usage.

Go back and look at the Q4 23 earnings report. A charge for over $1.1 billion was taken for restructuring. Restructuring at this amount always means layoffs/severance. If it costs $100k on average per person, which is very liberal, that would be 11k heads. If the per head cost is lower than the total impacted goes up. They got the chips act money so there is no longer any reason to wait, there won’t be any other handouts on the horizon. Good luck but update your resume and start applying for jobs. I doubt the severance packages will be much beyond the minimum required.
