Anyone get a cost of living adjustment in addition to their annual review percent increase? Some on my team did while others did not. How is the decision made on who gets a cost of living increase if inflation impacts everyone?

COLA is really only given in certain states that have made it part of their laws required to give. It is not mandatory in every state. And it also goes by your zip code/address.
I worked at Centene for over ten years and they do not give COLA to anyone. Early on there I did have a nice Manager who realized I was making less than I should have been for my grade level and had HR give me some type of adjustment to get me to a more in line with the pay for my position, but it was not related to COLA. I was laid off with the other 3000 folks in early 2021 during the pandemic. After three months I was employed by another insurance company working 100% remotely and am still there. If you are unhappy look for other positions where you will be paid appropriately either internally or externally.
I got meets and a 2% raise
5% is such a joke for California costs and taxes LOL
I live in California and got a 5% last year for COLA in sep/oct.
I didn’t even know it was possible to get both at Centene. I only got an annual review percent increase and it was less than 3%
No I did not get a COLA adjustment. I agree somehow they unilaterally decided who deserves a cost of living adjustment and who does not. I am so over this company.
Dang! I should ask because I’m in a big city and the struggle is real.
