How come that you can work 14+ hours a day and it still isn't enough to get everything done?

Clueless leadership.... I don't even want to call them leaders, they are bunch of monkeys whose control is in consultants hands... haha ... I will pitty for these jokers.
Absolutely do not work past your 8 hours. There is no payoff going above and beyond in this type of environment. Keep your manager informed of what’s going on, and logoff once you’ve hit that 8 hour mark. They can’t hold anything against you for working your standard hours.
You must work for 24 hr banking? The senior leaders that knew what they were doing ran as the current troop came in. It’s a mess, and sad that the directors don’t care about their staff.
Yup, it’s a you problem. Stop working as soon as you put in your 8 hours. You won’t get any rewards for working longer, but only more work. They will lay you off regardless if you work 8 hours or 14 hours, unfortunately.
The technology is an 80s vintage mess. TOS management has been around this long and can't understand how spreadsheets work. If all of TOS management was let go, absolutely nothing would be lost, except every frontline employee would have several hours extra each day to work because the ego stroke management meetings would be gone.
If you keep filling the gap like this it's no wonder they don't think they need more resources. Work the hours you're paid to work while looking around for something better. Believe me, it's out there. Stop doing the work of 2 people, they won't thank you for it. Time to look out for yourself.
It will never be done, especially when they overload you with work. You have to just stop at what you’re able to get done in 8 so they can learn what’s actually feasible.
Because they keep firing people, so more work and less people. And now you have to RTO! Add 2 more hours a day for commuting and getting ready for work
Because the technology is trash and everything is a mess? I can relate.
