Uplift tables?

Anyone know where on the intranet it can be found if there is an uplift for a particular location?

PNG 60%
Mozambique/Guyana 40/45% (it's one of those).

  • In many cases rotators get less than expates (project dependant).
  • % times your salary and you're paid once a month. EM pays taxes on hazard pay.
  • Anywhere "nice" will be 20% or less considering the hazards of living there are significantly reduced.
  • You get more vacation and there is a requirement of time you have to stay in country to receive hazard pay. I believe 6 months and 1 day (for expates).
  • Traveling home will depend on management and your availability. However, you would have to pay for your own travel home (leisure travel).
  • There are some additional $$ incentives as well for living abroad.

Just know whatever the number is (e.g. 40%) that will change, and it will change downwards

You won’t know what the number is really until you start working in the new location. Everything is an estimate until then. The old spreadsheet of uplifts doesn’t exist anymore. Best bet is to ask someone you know who is working where they want you to go.

You have a location? Someone on board probably knows.
