If Bain is in loved, as others have indicated, I think it's worth noting...
They don't get involved unless they can have skin the in game. Some comments on here imply they are just a contract/fee-for-service advisory firm. They are not. They decline fee-for-service engagements on a regular basis. When you learn that Bain is involved at any level, that denotes a few things
- They intend to help reshift ownership
- They are considering ownership/equity themselves
I encourage you all to read up on this firm further to get a better handle on what it means that Bain is engaged with Avaya.
