Had to go out on leave, lost out on my bonus because of it. Now they’re trying to deny my pay and I’m having to bend over backwards to get compensation for something that is literally a part of our benefits. This corrupt a-s company is the worst.

Added layer of fun, just found out Wayne made the total amount of backpay im having to fight for in three hours. Gotta love it.
Confirms what I thought, that USAA’s disability benefits were window dressing for the illusion of “world-class benefits program”. I can’t say that I knew the exact details of the few coworkers I knew that had to go down that path with regard to their getting disability payments, but I can say that every one of the ones I knew personally was no longer an employee a year later and it wasn’t the coworker exercising their at-will employment “security”. Surely there were instances where the program worked like the benefit it represented itself to be but I just didn’t witness any.
