Training for what?

My team is being required to travel for 2.5 days of training. Including the requirement of traveling on a Sunday. This decision was made suddenly going from at some point we will meet to it’s happening in 3 weeks. Also the comment was mad3 that they want to see how well we work at cubicles. I am assuming I am next out the door being close to 65. But do they really believe we are so clueless?
If it’s Thursday of a non pay week, then there is a RIF happening somewhere within the company. It’s a way of life.
All the operational issues and lack of internal connectivity with systems is coming home to roost. So many short term focused decisions made the past two years in the dr-g division are getting exposed. So lets reOrg again and if you work for one of the keepers you may be safe for a while longer but if not you will be layered or let go. At this point just many are just quiet quitting until the next round.
Employees in this company are treated like livestock.
I need to know because people are stepping over me for no reason.
Why can’t people get it into their heads that RIF’s are a way of life in Anthem.

Yes March 7th additional RIFs will be announced. More coming in April and July at least.
