Remember IT 4.0 and the edge was going to send HDD sales straight up? Exactly. Now replace IT 4.0 with AI and rinse wash and repeat the hype.

Yeah, lots of "new" articles praising the "new era" of HDDs. Bringing in the Sony name certainly helped. I bet they let us pay in full for the "new line" priced at 33mio. As others stated 33mio is nothing in semiconductors.
I bet Seagate paid for this article. It's an attempt to associate HDD with AI to get bubble stock buyers to take notice. That's the only purpose here.
