Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Here's a thought

During the recession of 2008 layoffs were everywhere. The Nintendo CEO at the time, Satoru Iwata, took a different path. He shared “If we reduce the number of employees for better short-term financial results, employee morale will decrease. I sincerely doubt employees who fear that they may be laid off will be able to develop software titles that could impress people around the world.” In fact, he cut his own salary by 50% and all of the board members cut their pay by 20% in order to avoid laying anyone off.

Ek you keep bragging about how great a company we are and how great of a leader you are. Just a thought.

Corporate will never reduce their pay for the better of the underlings. Cutting some of the fat in the middle may have helped, but I would like to see the thousands of dollars the corporate level gets in bonuses.
More for me, less for you.
That would never be an option. Why? Because they would replace every current worker and hire a much less experienced and cheaper worker. Remember, you mean very little to this company and they will replace you in a heartbeat and pretend you never existed. If we even exist now...

EK is hard of hearing since he relocated his head north of the an-l sphincter. Better to deal with the underlings who have yet figured out where the sphincter is . Maybe try the GVP level as they are waiting for the boot to be delivered?
