Let it bankrupt first and grab the best engineers for half the price.
Well, if they were smart they would wait till Intel cratered then buy it up at a huge discount.
No one has that much cash except Apple & Microsoft. Apple will be shy after their experience acquiring the dud cellular modem division. Microsoft works so closely with Intel (Wintel anyone?) that they will not put their hands in the cesspool.
A very lucky company like NVDA would continue its lucky streak and avoid the curse of a 3rd rate fab.
IFS = big photos, broke ground holes, possible tarmac, massive promises , but absolutely No potential and especially No delivery
Why would NV need or want Intel?
They use Samsung as a second source.
Intel even uses TSMC for GPU and SOC.
Nobody is signing up for IFS.
