Tammy Schmaeng, SVP of Payment Integrity, just informed us in a zoom call that 12 employees under her are being laid off. She said it was just Payment Integrity and not a company wide round of layoffs.

It was not due to performance unless you consider "Excels" on a recent performance evaluation to be poor performance.
When you were given no notice, were you given a severance package?
It’s happening in several areas. We just lost 3 headcount. Only one was a warm body that last their job.
The company is contracting and consolidating.
They let got almoat our whole unit. We were all BAI's. No notice no time just you jov has been elemnated. Your eligible to apply for other jobs. But we have to do that as an outside person instead of as an employee. Only problem with this is that the jobs that are open arent posted to the outside yet. So there is no way to apply for them. Grrrt
Wasn't aware - was this due to performance ? surprised to see layoffs around merit raises and bonus payment time but then they maybe doing it to hit the 2024 goals...
So they've moved from company-wide to LOB and departmental.
