Is anyone seeing promotions during this MAP review?

My last manager gave me a 3 because he was incompetent so even though I got a 5 this time with my new manager, I was told that was held against me.
Months ago I put in requests to promote some of my team from 27 to 28. I got denied on all of mine but was told they may reconsider later in the year. Why the heck do they even ask managers to submit promotion requests in the first place when months later they will just deny it.
@3izo+1r5RObWN I know they are too but mine trolls this site hard so I can’t use her initials but everyone dislikes her! She is rude, unprofessional, and thinks she just had everything figured out! The best part is they are so close to pushing her out I can’t wait! I used to feel bad but not after she showed her true colors this last couple of months.

This has been the plan the entire time since they really started to push their OGA initiatives back in like 2020/2021
Again waiting for that karma bus! I hope my boss gets axed! She is horrible and has no clue what she is doing and only buts in the create false fires to look busy and productive. Too busy gossiping to get any real work done hope her review is payback because I know her manager want her out..
only heard of a few. dusting off the resume. they simply don't care.
20% of our team received promotions this round. Not mentioning the team because people here are pretty petty.

Was told the IT budget was cut in half even after the lays offs last year. Look like they are trying to squeeze us US it people out with low raises and even lower rrp. Work your a$$ off all year for work that literally no one else can do..... "Meets expectations" guess I'll stop trying to exceed expectations since you literally can't any more here.
Cutting the IT Budget down so much only the offshore IT people will be able to afford it.

Nope, work in one of the priority "tech forward" areas too. Was told no promo this year... again. Guess I'm polishing off my resume.
