SVP s-xual as--ult case - Grand Jury says not enough evidence

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A grand jury in Montgomery County has found no probable cause for the s-xual as--ult case against an ExxonMobil executive.

David Scott was arrested in October at a hotel in Magnolia.

According to records, the victim said she and her friend met Scott earlier in the night at a bar and later met him at a hotel. During this time, the victim's friend became sick, and she went to the bathroom. It was then that the victim said Scott as--ulted her.

Following Scott's arrest, he posted a $30,000 bond. He was also suspended from his role as ExxonMobil's vice president.

Months after the arrest, a grand jury agreed there was not enough evidence for the case to move forward.

Wow, I know there are a lot of cry babies here but judgmental too.

  1. System took a crack at him and there wasn’t enough evidence. Whatever happened to the presumption of innocence. Besides that, if you go to a strange man’s hotel room with your friend late at night, there’s a certain presumption that you’re there to get into trouble. Sounded fishy to me.
  1. As for those judge about how others live their lives, I doubt you’re all that wonderful yourself. I’ve been in a lifestyle several years. Try and figure out who I am.

Keep telling yourself that deviant behavior is acceptable and you’ll end up just like him. Wrong is wrong no matter how many lies you tell yourself to justify it.

@3hso A lot of “upper-class” white couples around Houston practice consensual non-monogamy/swinging/cuckold. Some are kinkier than others. User assumes all risk.

This guy is not an outlier.

Be safe, know your limits, and no matter what no always means no.

Dude will be fine. Just needs to get hired by BP... they promote that behavior. One executive there had similar behavior while coming up through the ExxonMobil ranks at Baytown before they were dismissed from Joliet.

The thought of going to the club on a Wednesday night, pick up ho----s until 9am the next morning just makes me tired and want to curl up in my bed.

...And I'm only in my early 30s. How does he get the energy?

Apparently some of you don’t understand at will employment. They can fire you at any time with no reason just like you can quit whenever you want to. He isn’t getting any money from the company for this.

If you’re doing dr-gs, drinking and partying… it’s not that difficult to get to 9am.

It’s common practice for $ex workers and/or arranged encounters (threesomes) to meet in a public place first to make sure the energy is right. @2hrh+1r4QkrDU

I'm so curious about the timeline

What time did he get to the bar Wednesday night? How long was he at the bar? At what time did he invite them back to hotel?

So he meets these girls on Wednesday night at the bar, invites them over to the hotel and then gets arrested 9am on Thursday morning

What's happening ALL that time for him arrested at 9am on Thursday morning? That's at least a 12 hour timeline right there? Did the ladies just get mad at him and called the cops early in the morning?

If one girl was the victim
And the other a witness how come there was not enough evidence. What a pe-v to attack a girl sick in a bathroom

So? Was he bothering women at work? If not, that’s his personal matter.

Definitely not wrongful termination. Executives have a morality clause. The reputation damage from his actions and having the company’s name smeared in the media is enough to fire him. If you are an executive you need to act like one.
