LRs in Poland

Anyone here from Poland? How long does it take to be notified of being LRd once the announcement is made? I know we have different laws here. Thanks

Poland will be subject of LRs too. Impacted individuals will be notified on Thu. If you are not present that day you will be notified as soon as you are back to work.
LRs are based on mutuall separation agreement so labor law has nothing to do with it unless you refuse to take the $$$ offer.

I'm from Poland but I don't think we will have many heads cut for now, unless your department directly loses revenue source (sales or CMS department that lost contract with customer). We're still cheaper than US, UK, Switzerland, Australia and many other locations. Usually it's a budget exercise in Cisco and doesn't make sense to lose multiple people instead of one in more expensive location.
There are some exceptions, of course. There might be low performers in Poland, or people in expensive locations are friends with directors/VPs, whole team is in Poland, etc.

I won't say labour is that much cheaper in Poland as of now. But there are other countries who's labour laws are more flexed. So most likely if not agreed months in advance already Poland will be hit a few months to half a year from now

In PL, however much there will be, you won't know.
The mgmt don't discuss these out loud/clear. Unless you get to hear it via a chain of your social colleagues or close members in your team. and there's no such thing that CX poland is 'safer' than others. if you see the stats or money that cx poland is bringing to the company, it's definitely not greener or more remarkable than other centres. from another POV, PL might be less impacted due to the 'cheap' labor compared to euro, dollars, or pounds, etc..

If CX Poland should be safe I guess there are easier targets out there
