They’d buy Dish before T-Mobile.
Dish’s RAN core is using AWS.

The problem is the "New T-Mobile" has morphed into the "Old Sprint".

It depends on what “is” is.

If true (it's not), time to dustoff Legere's 2019 speech, “This merger will be a tremendous jobs creator at New T-Mobile and across our county,” he said to a House committee. “Our merger will be jobs-positive from day one and going forward.”

This may be the best thing for the company. What we are currently doing isn't working.

it's called vertical and horizontal investment. Please TMO is a consistent service cash flow business. This would be a good way to reduce cash flow risk for a large tech biz like AMZN

There was that rumor 8 months ago about Amazon being in discussions to enter the wireless space. I can't imagine the FTC or DOJ would allow that acquisition to successfully go through without a fight. Seems like they'd be more successful buying Dish or creating their own MVNO, but I wouldn't put it pass T-Mobile's top brass to put on a charm offensive to secure that pay day.
