What do we think—same time next year for cutting the remaining Middleton (now remote) employees?

If AG isn't sold I give it another 2 years before everyone left is absorbed into Mattel. They are just doing it in phases.
Some may find this letter to Mattel’s current CEO interesting. There has been push for Mattel to sell both FP and AG as it has become more than obvious Ynon is unable to make these companies profitable and is thus draining financial resources Mattel could otherwise be gaining. Unsure how Ynon can still hold his position with year over year decline in sales across many brands. 🤷🏼

They’re also closing the Columbus OH AG retail store this month. I used to think that working for Mattel was a way to retire from a good company. That is no longer evident. Rampant mismanagement and under qualified people in positions of leadership calling the shots has led this once great company into ground. I’m wondering if there is any way to rehire Jill Barad back into the drivers seat to help get things back on track.
But don't worry, people are encouraged to reapply for their own jobs! I'm sure the salaries will adjust according for the CA cost of living. /s
AG Let go of 30 employees today. Sad
Every GBT function moving to ES - brand, design, development, etc. Lease is up on the building and using that as explanation. Rolling dates starting this week. Corporate functions (legal, forecasting, etc.) are able to continue remotely.
What happened?
