Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Why do my posts keep getting deleted?

I am in HR and have given direct, factual, objective answers to some questions being posed here, and the mods keep deleting my posts?

Maybe cause it's called TheLayoff.com and not racialbias.com?

Nasty environment. Citi’s work morale is at the bottom. No transparency and people being rude with each other. No trust left because they are afraid of getting fired. Managers are clueless and demanding daily statuses.

Best advice is start looking to leave. It will take years to recover.

This is just my two cents and it might sound as semantic bullsh-t, but when you stop to think about it makes sense. I recon there is a big difference between "I work in HR" and "HR here". If you use the latter (or similar) phrase, that sounds official. Even though it probably wasn't your intent, that might be misleading and site mods might delete it for impersonating (given you don't have authority to speak on behalf of entire HR). On the other hand, if you start your sentence with "I work in HR", you are just giving info about where you work and why should your input be relevant to others.

Cut with the feigned ignorance.

  1. Read site rules
  2. Follow them
  3. Repeat

A couple of weeks ago, I posted regarding apparent racial bias at Citi, and they removed it.
