Thread regarding Capital One layoffs

Ratings

Is there an inconsistent rating for year end or just below strong? I’ve been out of the office and haven’t had my official year end review yet. Does an inconsistent or below strong get a bonus? Doesn’t an inconsistent or below get PIPed with severance or just fired?

Just know you'll be PIPped if it is under Strong.

I left years ago, so this may have changed, but I did get an Inconsistent at EOY as a People Leader, and I did still get a yearly bonus. It was 75% of what the “Strong” bonus was.

Things have changed. Got an inconsistent at year end (never received a below in 5+ years) and was immediately put on PIP

Any rating below Strong in mid or year end puts you on a coaching plan or PIP. On a coaching plan they can you give you a portion of your bonus not the full amount. With a PIP you don't get any bonus. If you're getting an inconsistent in year end you'll be put in a PIP and be fired with no bonus.

From what I know so far, Inconsistent (if it is first) puts you on a coaching plan for 60 days , which is still better of the two (vs. PIP). The coaching plan can end successfully and then you continue business as usual, it can be extended, or it can be turned into PIP.
