Seems like everyone is trying to change it at once and the site is getting bogged down. This is an even bigger s show than a lot of people realize because that PIN isn’t just for logging in remote, there are other applications that use that as the password. Which means even some people who are in office today can’t get their work done right now.

And now India employees need to change their ADent pass. It's officially an S show.

Why is it called a PIN anyway, don't they know that the N = number? It's not like 'password' is trademarked, ffs just use it.

It's not an RSA issue, it was/is with the equipment that Wells uses for the VPN.

I had to change my pin about a month ago after not changing it in 15 years. I thought it was odd that just one day it stopped working. Called it, we set up a new pin.

As pointed out very odd. But then we do not plan such things well. Almost sure, some event precipitated this on Friday evening before a 3 day weekend.

I got that notice on friday afternoon, but my spouse who also works for WF did not.

Whatever it was didn't impact everybody

I am fully remote and have been since 2016 and I did not get any notice and was able to log in this morning (yes I know its a holiday). I use the RSA Secure ID fab which has an expiration date on the back and every 3 or so years I get a new one sent to me at my house. Just wondering why some were affected and others weren't.

The execution of this is a S show. How about when you log in with your old credentials, a window pops up, you enter the new password and done? I swear, this company makes every effort to fail. But don't worry, there's 18 confusing guides on Teamworks that you can't access anyway. We need to get all of our systems to the point where we don't NEED any guides. Have these people never heard the word "intuitive"? Nevermind, I think we know the answer to that.

I was told when I called to have help changing mine, they said, there was a breach and they made everyone change theirs... that is all I know. But I guess it was time, I have had mine so many years. But what was strange was you are notified on a weekend, and Monday is a company Holiday. Even the tech guy stated he was working 10 hour shifts since it was so busy. He expects even more calls on Tuesday... but what if you are on PTO for the week and do not have a BYOD (Bring your own device) and do not know until you try to log in, people are going to think they are laid off.... not good timing Wells.......

Had same thought.
Virtually no notice.

Did rsa have any recent breaches? Guessing it could be their end as well.

I actually thought it was fairly weird that we never had to change the PIN. Kind of odd though that there wasn't any lead time though. Just change it now
